Duttythroy's HTC HD (BlackStone) Duttys HD WM6.5 R3 ROM just came in!
Introducing version HD WM6.5 R3 release of the WM6.5 Series, a new MS Build 5.2.21819 and CE OS 5.2.21820.5.0.40.

Dutty's HD WM6.5 R3 Change Log
•• Fixed HTC Album not able to play Videos.
• HTC Album doesnt support Social Networking anymore.
• Fixed bluetooth now opening from comm Manager..
• Change Manila theme as R1.
• HTC Black theme disable , but if enable will activate HTC WM6.5 Black scroll bars and manila purple them, also added Rhodium purple theme in wallpaper selection if need to match windpws.
• Change manila package with support with all manila languages.
• Enable WM6.5 FINGER FRIENDLY menus throughout the Rom.
• Some other minor fixes and changes.
• Some minor tweaks etc.
• Optimised for Speed and Stability, Rom is freaking fast.
• Optimised Rom with more Free program memory around 124 MB FREE
• As time goes by I will do a Rom without manila, just plain WM6.5
PLEASE HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING ROM.

I have WM 6.1 on my phone can I use this ROM to get WM 6.5 or do I already need 6.5 to use this ROM? Probably a stupid question but I don'' know the answer...

amazing rom, very fast and clean, but a major problem for me. when you receive any email, and open it, there is a reply button as opposed to reply all, so you have to do reply all from, menu which is no good.
Dutty, can you please fix this or show how to fix it. as its pretty required, in all your roms there is reply all on emails.
a little urgent, anyone knows a work our for it. as i want to really start using 6.5, but without reply all it would be impossible, as i get almost 1500 emails daily on my exchange.

Good question. I for one, DO NOT want that button to say reply all. I get a lot of e-mails sent to multiple people, and I do not want to send my replies to every other recipient, by default. However, it would be nice to know if there is a way to control this, or if this is just a fix MS put in after thousands of complaints over "reply all" being the default.

He jumped from R2 to R3 fast. Guess that's why the download wasn't available.
Is it possible to get an album that works with Facebook upload even if it doesn't support playing back video? I don't care to play video in the album anyway, but I would like the camera on this to be able to do facebook uploads (maybe then I'd start using the camera more).

hmmm i dont like the start menu from wm 6.5. its not that fast still laggy in start menu. going back to 3.9 turbo. waiting for 4.0 turbo with manila 2.5 and a faster rom. i dont like laggy stuff. thanx anyway dutty

I installed R3 last night then went to sleep (I'm in China).
First impressions this morning is that this ROM is definitely fast.
I really like the "finger friendly menus" - they seem faster than the iPhone style HTC ones.
Fingers are crossed, I've gone through most of the system and it's working so well, almost a little TOOO well. ;)
As for the start menu. I agree with the comment above. Best thing is organize it into fewer pages. I like the 6.5 one because it has folders and I contains _all_ of my programs not just 28. The quick launch on Manila is perfect if you want a quick launcher, maybe just use the start menu as your "all programs" menu.

In reference to Chinese: I don't use Sunglobe, I just install MS YaHei via a cab (originally designed for Dutty's 1.9) and that still works perfectly. It ought to be a better solution since it contains the entire, and real MS YaHei font (about 12 MB).

I found it impossible to turn to get videos to work at full speed. quite lagging. The bluetooth was hard to turn on and off, and wifi is the same. Cant get the sms sent notification working either even though I have edited the registry... I went back to 3.9 but still having troubles witht he sent notification... must be just me. I also had icons dissappearing

Sorry about the negativity before Mate, I was tired and hadnt had a good day at work, I was looking forward to the R3 and installed it. By the way I tried R2, and I'm glad you got rid of it. As much as I like the look and feel of this release, it just doesnt feel right. So I will look forward to the next release and try it..... As is said a million times on here, well done and just know there is an aussie who appreciates all your hard work!

Nice rom there i like it much, been using it for two days now, for some reason this morning when i started youtube on it, it freezed and didnt want to start after that.

Nice and realy fast rom but I found 1 bug when sending sms.
when I send the first sms there is no problem. But when sending sms after the first one, the sms stays in the outbox for a long time and is being resend. Sometimes up to 10 times. The recipient of this sms receives 10x the same sms from me so I also have to pay 10x for this sms every time. Also the delivery notifications don't work because of this I think and the incomming sms takes a long time to show up in the inbox. I now went back to Dutty 3.9 until this problem is solved
Are there others having the same problem ?

There is 1 MAJOUR bug in this ROM though !! I have the PHONE LOCK on. It is something that is enforced via exchange by my work. The next day after I installed the ROM, it wouldnt accept my password anymore. Thus after 8 attempts, it HARD RESET my device ! And also wiped out my micro SD card!
So I set up everything again, and now after 2 days of using the phone the same thing has happened. It will no longer accept my password, so i cannot access the phone.
Can u look into this urgently as I need to use my work email via exchange and due to the enforcement of the phone lock feature via exchange, I cannot avoid using this lock.
